We try to keep the Watch app as simple as possible. On the one hand, because space is very limited. On the other hand, because the Watch app is supposed to be used only for very short interactions. For example when you are bored in a meeting and just want to quiz a few words under the table. Or when you are listening to a podcast or watching TV and do a mini Quiz to optimize use of your lifetime.

There certainly are use cases where playing audio would be useful. But we rather keep the Watch app very minimal to keep interactions quick and intuitive.
